"My mother moved in to Discovery Commons about six months ago. Everyone was a little worried about how the transition would go, but there was really nothing to worry about. My mother was welcomed by the staff and the residents and has been so happily cared for, we feel it has been a perfect fit. The staff is consistently kind and very professional, they take excellent care of my mother and always leave her in a great mood. Plus, she gets a lot of extra ice cream, which we appreciate! The facilities have been completely redone on the inside and look fabulous and are kept exceptionally clean. The exterior grounds have beautiful, mature trees, and everything looks manicured. We love having our mom gather with her friends on the front porch, even in warm weather there’s a lovely group of residents ready to chat or just wave hello. This is where my 95 yo mother is safe, loved, and happy. It is all about the staff: they are fantastic."
